Experience

Kyle Bracey, owner of Bracey Performance LLC, is the innovator of the Bracey Performance System and has been a Strength and Conditioning Coach specialist since 2000. He is also the co-creator of the Apollo Challenge. He serves athletes from youth to professional levels including athletes competing in the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA and UFC. Bracey received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Physical Education from Eastern Illinois University (EIU) in 2002.

The Bracey System

There is a science behind this system, and there is no such thing as “one size fits all”. Kyle has an unbiased approach, and each athlete is treated as a unique individual with varying needs, in every aspect of what they want, are capable, can, and will achieve. Bracey Performance is a Sports Performance Machine with an all-encompassing approach to wellness, offering training in a setting like no other. The innovative, scientific, solution-based approach to training works on and with all athletes to achieve both physical and mental greatness. The synopses in your brain and body get “rewired” so your muscles and mental capacity gets “turned up”, merging into incredible results. You will realize and obtain results you never knew your mind or body could achieve.

Athlete History

Kyle was a 4-year starter, two-time captain, and 1999 NCAA East Regional Runner-up for Eastern Illinois University’s Division I Wrestling team, which competed under the tutelage of Ralph McCausland (NCAA Champion and 10-time UFC Champion), Matt Hughes (NCAA All-American, two-time UFC Welterweight Champion, and UFC Hall of Fame inductee) and Vladimir Anoshenko (Russian National Champion). Kyle won a Bronze Medal in the 2009 World Grappling Championships (presented by the Olympic wrestling body FILA), is a retired Mixed Martial Artist with a professional record of 8-2, and served as a UFC Head cornerman for Brian Ebersole who is considered the most experienced fighter in UFC welterweight history.

Performance Dietitian

Experience

Christina Chu is a sports dietitian who strives to help her athletes fuel their bodies to peak performance and feel good while doing it. As a second-generation Taiwanese-American, she grew up around all kinds of food and was in the kitchen as soon as she could walk. She played competitive tennis at Neuqua Valley High School. While earning her Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Science at Boston University, she continued her love for the sport as a tennis instructor and became a personal trainer. During her Master's program, she worked with Boston University Athletics and their performance staff, where she refined her focus towards food as fuel, providing a strong foundation for mental and physical performance. She interned at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, where she continued to strengthen her performance nutrition education. In combining her passion for sports nutrition with the substantial clinical foundation she has in her training, Christina is able to provide a space for her athletes to speak openly about their nutrition plan and maintain their accountability. Christina's evidence-based strategies are fit for those who want to distinguish themselves from good to great. "Food is fuel...and more!"
